Paperwork for a Mallorca Wedding
All the paperwork is part of our inclusive package. However for those who just require us to do the church and legal paperwork, we are also able to offer this as a separate service.
All paperwork is overseen and translated by Countess Maria von Staufer who is experienced in the administrational requirements, and liaises with the bride and her parish priest, the priest and diocese of both parties and the Mallorcan diocese. Yes, it is that complicated! But Maria will take all the mess and sort it out for you!
We also keep abreast of local legal legislation, and can advise on a number of marriage impediments, and legal requirements in matters such as divorce, annulment, deed poll, name changes etc...
If you are planning your own wedding, or have a travel agent's package, you will need to arrange a lot of complicated legal and church paperwork. This often causes delays due to the fact that names are often mis-transcribed; details not always correct; then the diocese sends these papers to Mallorca Weddings to translate, wasting time and causing you additional expense.

Our fees for this service (to advise, translate and courier-service the papers to the correct offices in Mallorca) are from 150 euros depending on complexity; eg a straightforward British couple, both catholics will be 150 euros; where bride & groom are from different countries, or of different denominations etc, a slightly higher fee is incurred due to the extra paperwork involved in these cases.
