Mallorca Weddings
Terms of Business
1. Our normal fee for this trouble-saving and comprehensive service is a minimum charge of £2,000 for a basic wedding package or or 15% of total bill, for a more personal service when the wedding cost goes over £15,000. This is fully inclusive of all costs, including all our own travel and administration expenses, transfer fees and taxes, and unexpected problems. It also includes two days consultations in Mallorca, including a whole day tour in airconditioned vehicles, to see the venues etc and basic wedding insurance.
2. The cost of the wedding and the final bill of course depends on your choices in travel, hotel, reception, type of flowers, and extras (such as last-minute hairstyling with veil etc, choir / dancers / vocalist / organist). Clients will be advised of all these service costs before bookings are made.
3. Upon hiring the services of this agency a 50% non-refundable desposit is requested. This covers the work done on the clients' behalf.
4. Once a date is chosen and the required services settled upon, clients will receive an open estimate of the total cost of their wedding, depending upon the charges made by the individual services. A 50% portion of ALL services - hotel, catering, florist, photographers etc - must be deposited with the Agents so that they can then co-ordinate and book all your service requirements for the required date.
5. Clients who chose to book directly their own hotel and/or catering do so at THEIR OWN RISK ENTIRELY. Mallorca Weddings cannot be held responsible for anything which may go wrong as a result of a client's personal actions. However, in the interests of our clients' happiness, we will try to troubleshoot, make other arrangements etc insofar as we are able to do so, but Mallorca Weddings can take no responsibility for any inability to succeed for whatever reason. Please read carefully the section on things that can go wrong.
6. Clients should satisfy themselves as to the suitablity of their chosen hotel. Usually clients stay at the desired hotel during their visit to Mallorca for this assessment.
7. In the event of a cancellation/delay, clients should know that they are responsible for paying whatever penalty deposits are required by the hotels and services already booked, in accordance with the individual policies of those companies.
8. In the event of a cancellation of the services of Mallorca Weddings clients will be charged only for the work done at the rates as follows:
- £20 per hour for research, practical work done and travelling time
- £10 per letter/message
- phone calls at cost (usually minimal)
Travel costs incurred (usually just the one trip for meeting clients)
If the wedding is later re-scheduled, clients returning to Mallorca Weddings will benefit from the refund of most of these expenses against the continuation of their planning.
9. Last minute arrangements (within three months) may be undertaken subject to other commitments and administration regulations, and subject to availability of dates etc... There may be a surcharge for this extra service.

10. Free Consultation
You will receive a two-hour consultation free of charge - either as detailed answers to emailed questions, or by pre-arranged telephone consultation.
This will enable you to ask questions regarding the services offered, all of which you can read about on these pages. At the end of these two hours you will have enough information to be able to decide whether the service offered by Mallorca Weddings is for you or not. If not, there is no charge. No further free consultations will be permissable after this.
Most agencies only allow one hour for a free consultation.
If you are satisfied with our services, we shall then send you our contract. You may cancel our services at any time but on the understanding that work done by Mallorca Weddings on your behalf must be paid for as per the rates and terms listed above.
